The castles of Loira take this named because are around the Loira River. The Loire River the longest river in France with a length of 1020 km, drains an area of 117,000 km², more than a fifth of France. The central part of the Loire Valley was added to the World Heritage Sites list of UNESCO on December 2, 2000.
I travelled to this castles with a planed trip from Madrid. I spend almost a month in France with a group of Spanish like in a young camp and we travelled from the camp to some places in Paris and one of those places were the castles of Loira.
